Ezzam Rahman is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Singapore. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Fine Arts from the University of Huddersfield, U.K, and was formally trained as a sculptor from LASALLE College of the Arts. Though Ezzam is trained as a sculptor, he works in installation and performance art. His works vary in choice of medium, concepts and strategies of presentation. Ezzam’s works deal with the human condition and identity, both personal and societal.
His miniature artist’s skin sculptures were commissioned by the Singapore Art Museum and showcased in an exhibition entitled ‘Unearthed’ in 2014. He presented an installation art cum performance artwork at SingaPlural, an anchor event for the Singapore Design Week 2015. Ezzam was nominated as one of the artists for President Young Talents 2015 by the Singapore Art Museum.
