C.K. Koh is a contemporary artist & children’s book author who works in both fine arts media, such as painting, mix-media and digital media.
Koh’s style and subject matter resonate amongst the new generation of young professional art collectors in Malaysia. From the onset his works appear to have a cheery outlook. Upon closer inspection there is a more serious and underlying meaning to his works that has captured the spirit of a generation. At Art Expo Malaysia 2017, he showcased an installation booth titled ‘House of Stars’ where Koh purposely recreated the village house where he grew up in and housed within it a works of iconic western icons in his distinct ‘Boxboy’ style. Koh is also teaching in The One Academy and is currently the Deputy Head of Fine Arts Department.
